About

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest just outside of the Emerald City, the Kansas University Basketball Antiquities and Legends Lodge of Seattle (KU BALLS) is the largest, privately owned museum of KU basketball memorabilia located outside of Lawrence, Kansas, according to a little-known and made-up fact.

Originally opening to the public in 2013, KU BALLS quickly had to relocate to larger space due to the overwhelming number of visitors. Since the summer of 2014, patrons have been enjoying their experience at KU BALLS in picturesque Edmonds, Washington, alongside breathtaking views of the Puget Sound.

The Booth Family Hall of Athletics at Allen Fieldhouse may boast of over 26k square feet of space, but as I continuously repeat to my wife, size isn’t everything: KU BALLS is small, but mighty, with approximately 4000 cubic feet of space dedicated to the history and tradition of KU basketball.

Although accompanied by expert analysis and commentary of both Kansas and college basketball, this space is primarily dedicated to the digital display of the various Jayhawk artifacts housed at KU BALLS, their stories, and their importance in the evolution of civilization and culture.

We look forward to seeing you during your next pilgrimage to KU BALLS – Rock Chalk!
